Landlord•Tenant•Letting Agent - Oil Boiler Inspection
Oil fired appliances and equipment should be serviced periodically in accordance with the manufactures instructions.
Oil storage tanks and pipework should be checked and any leaks repaired. ( BS 5410 PART 1 2019)
To promote safety and assure tenants, letting agents, landlords and property insurers, I can service and inspect installations as part of you planned maintenance program. This can save on costly call out fees if an appliance fails unexpectedly. .
Where tenancy agreements put the responsibility of appliance maintenance on the tenant, it is recommended that tenants (with consent) use an OFTEC Registered Technician who can provide a copy of an OFTEC CD12 or CD11 to demonstrate that they have met the terms of their tenancy agreement, and have a record of observations made during scheduled maintenance.
I liaise work with Letting Agents and Property Management Companies, as well as directly with Landlords, and Tenants (with their landlord's written permission).
